At the start of our project, we went over our extensive wish list of changes and additions with you. It included just about everything we had thought about for several years that we would like to do to upgrade or repair our house – add a master bedroom & bath, remodel the kitchen, increase the kitchen and family room size, finish the basement, modify several walls, plus replace the aging siding, windows, exterior doors, and driveway. Since it was pretty extensive, we didn’t really think we would be able to do everything and were ready to back off what we felt we could do without.

Because the design that you and Sean developed was so appealing and your bid was affordable, we signed on for the whole deal! The design not only increased our living space, but it also opened up the existing areas in ways we hadn’t imagined would be possible. There were a number of design features that caught that attention of both of us – increasing the passage ways between rooms both downstairs and upstairs, completely rebuilding the fireplace, and adding windows and skylights to allow in much more natural light. Certain things appealed to Sue – the beautiful designs possible with the tile and stone, the immaculate granite surfaces, and the fluted finish on wood surfaces – while others to Bob – MicroLam to hold up the back half of the house and several internal sections (really impressive!), zoned heating/cooling (he didn’t think it would work – but it did), plus the circulating pump to keep hot water available almost instantaneously throughout the house.

You coordinated the work of your crews so that we always had living space, eventually reworking all but two of the rooms in the house. Well, we had to store our stuff somewhere! Since we both work full time, we often felt like we were in a foot race to keep up with you on the various design points and specifications. Yet you always supported us as we filled in the many blanks you needed to keep the project moving forward.

When we think of you, your focus on customer satisfaction always comes to mind. We could only hope that other businesses were half as focused on it as you have been. In fact, whenever we asked about doing something, it seemed like your response “We can do that!” was out before we even finished our question. As a result, we ended up making changes and additions after the project was going, as you well know.

Your crews were excellent throughout the project. Their craftsmanship shows up in the finished product - the best testimonial to the work that each did. You offered us an excellent value, and we are really pleased to offer our recommendation of your services to others based on the project at our home.
