Home Installation Pros was contracted to finish our basement and also do a remodel of our master bathroom. The work on the basement, about 1500 sq. ft. of space, included building a great room with a wet bar area, a storage/hobby room space, a bedroom and a full bath. The work to remodel the master bathroom included demolition of existing tile work and shower, installation of a vertical spa system, tile of entire bathroom and replacement of fixtures.

The work that Home Installation Pros did in our home is high quality with an attention to details and refinements that make the space feel less like a basement and more like any other room in the house. One of the main strengths that Home Installation Pros has is the creativity to designing the space and coming up with ideas and touches that I would not have thought of on my own. Brian, the owner, came up with creative suggestions to use the space efficiently and addressed issues that other contractors that bid on the project did not suggest. For example, Brian used arches similar to those found elsewhere in the house that add to the appeal of the basement and at the same time enclosed problematic duct work that otherwise would have detracted from the ascetics of the basement and impeded hallway space. Another example adding to the appeal of the basement was Brian’s suggestion to put in an electrical and cable outlet to facilitate mounting a small television over the bar that I would never have thought of but immediately loved the idea and have already bought a television for the bar.

All the work done, from the framing to drywall is impressive and of high quality. The subcontractors did quality work, were easy to work with and kept the area clean. While it is never easy to have work crews in the house for extended periods, the subcontractors minimized the intrusion and disturbance. We found them easy to communicate with and all materials were of high quality. The tile work in the bathroom is outstanding and has completely changed the look and feel of bathroom taking out the builders standard materials from when the house was built and gave it a more custom, quality look.

I have no doubt that we will get a lot of enjoyment out of our basement and that it will increase the value of our house. The design and work will maximize the usable space and we are already using it extensively. Home Installation Pros also did a couple extra projects in the house such as replacing a broken kitchen faucet. We are truly happy that the basement has been completed and that we are now have that family space to enjoy.
